Lawn tennis is a popular sport played between two players (singles) or two teams of two players (doubles) on a rectangular court. The objective is to hit a ball over a net using a racket in such a way that the opponent cannot return it within the court boundaries.
Players use a racket to hit a felt-covered rubber ball over a net into the opponent’s court. The rally continues until one player fails to return the ball correctly. Matches are usually played in sets, and a player must win a certain number of sets to win the match.
